NCRS Testing Laboratory Receives Precursor License
08.08.2025At the 67th meeting of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (ICS), it was decided to recognize 53 national reference materials of the Russian Federation as interstate reference materials (IRMs). Of these, 42 were developed by the National Center for Reference Samples (NCRS).
Thus, the total number of reference materials produced by NCRS and granted interstate status has reached 73 items.
The inclusion of these reference materials in the IRM Registry ensures their unconditional application in the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, including the Republics of Armenia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, as well as other CIS countries such as the Republics of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
This decision was the result of systematic joint work between NCRS and the Federal Budgetary Institution "State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices" (FSI "SI&GP") of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The NCRS management emphasized that the Center continues active work on further recognition of approved-type reference materials (RMs) in the international arena.
The number of recognized reference materials is expected to grow steadily, helping to strengthen CIS cooperation in standardization and increasing NCRS's export potential in priority areas - quality control of medicines and public health protection.
