
Expert of the NCSS on Domestic Reference Materials and “Pharma-2030”
24.12.2025On February 5, 2026, the IX Pharmaceutical Summit, titled "Registration, Pharmacovigilance, and Clinical Trials: New Horizons and Best Practices," will be held in Moscow. The National Center for Reference Materials (NCSS) will be a key participant in the business program of the event.
The Summit traditionally gathers leading industry professionals to discuss current issues in the registration, pharmacovigilance, and clinical trials of medicines, medical devices, and dietary supplements. During the event, experts exchange practical cases and experiences in implementing new solutions.
NCSS experts will deliver two presentations as part of the business program:
1. " Reference Materialsas the Foundation of Pharmaceutical Sovereignty and Import Substitution" – presented by Vladimir Gegechkori, Director of Production and Certification of Reference Materials at NCSS.
The presentation will provide a detailed examination of the role of reference materials (including pharmacopoeial reference standards and certified reference materials) as a key element of pharmaceutical sovereignty and import substitution in the pharmaceutical industry. The expert will analyze how a reliable reference base contributes to fulfilling the industry's strategic objectives.
2. "Evolution of Dosage Forms: New Challenges for Quality Control" – presented by Dmitry Chepilo, Head of the Testing Laboratory at NCSS.
The presentation will focus on analyzing the evolution of dosage forms from classical to innovative ones. The speaker will examine the requirements for quality, reproducibility, and traceability.
