NCSS summed up the results of the first quarter: identified the most in-demand

The National Center for Standard Samples summed up the results of the first quarter and identified the reference materials that were in the greatest demand among laboratories and pharmaceutical enterprises.

According to the sales results, the leaders were:

• Acetylsalicylic acid;

• Ibuprofen;

• Paracetamol;

• Inosine;

• Vildagliptin.

These names accounted for about 30% of the total number of vials sold.

"The established demand structure reflects the current challenges of the industry:

There is a high need for quality control of both widely used active substances and modern pharmaceutical substances," says Elena Tereshchuk, Head of the NCSS's Procurement and Sales Department.

For laboratories, this is a daily analytical practice, and for manufacturers, it is the basis for stable production.

NCSS continues to develop its portfolio of reference materials, focusing on the real needs of the market and quality assurance tasks at all stages – from development to the release of finished medicines.

Today, the company has more than 250 titles, of which 74 have interstate status.
